I. Difference Is Potential, Which Is Energy

At the fundamental structure of the physical world, difference itself corresponds to a potential field, and potential field is directly equivalent to energy. This relation should not be regarded as a man-made definition, but as an intrinsic nature of spacetime and fields. A future unified theory ought to make “difference is potential, potential is energy” a natural consequence of geometric structure, rather than an ad hoc assumption.

- 𝒟 (Difference) → 𝒫 (Potential Field) → ℰ (Energy)
- Notation: 𝒟 ≡ 𝒫 ≡ ℰ, where ≡ denotes essential identity.

II. Mass as the Coupling of Energy in a Field

Mass is not an independent fundamental entity, but a macroscopic effect manifested by the coupling of energy with a curved field. This picture is fully compatible with the core conclusion of general relativity regarding the curvature of spacetime, while revealing the origin of mass at a deeper level—it is not a “substance,” but a geometric expression of energy within the structure of a field.

I am fully aware that these claims currently lack complete mathematical formulation and experimental verification. However, I believe that the development of physics has always begun with intuition, matured through formalization, and been validated by experiment. This text records the stage that starts from intuition.
